May 2011
GALLERY SHOW:

Cunny Isle Bemusement Park ran May 10-20, with quite the happening on May 13:
  • Sound installation of dual automobiles with droning amps parked just outside the entrance.
  • Envelopes with insights/insults soliciting a response via email were distributed.
  • In the BACK gALLErY, a culinary installation of make-your-own French-Fry sandwiches was offered (and eaten).
  • On the screen, a short film looped its visual message.
  • Performance art of the Elegiac, Artaud/Sade/Kauffman-Inspired, and Improvisational-Jazz-Backed-by-Sound-Poetry varieties ensued.
  • People ate and drank and most of them received mystery bags as parting party gifts.
  • All the while, papers, canvases and other materials hung on the walls as witnesses.
